Purpose of the Facility: The Optima XL-A Analytical Ultracentrifugation Facility was established in 1995 through funding by the North Carolina Biotechnology Center and Wake Forest University to provide academic and industrial research scientists with access to modern analytical ultracentrifugation technology.
